By the power of the light sure hand, I bless you:

"I send you the protection of Christ.
I send you the Great Light as your companion.
It possesses you and protects you from death, danger and loss.
May the Three surround you in the battle to come.
On the day of battle, may Michael be your high shield.
At the turning point of the battle, may Jesus the Blessed stand between you and the enemy's hatred.
Around you, I arrange a cloak of radiant Angels
To protect you from behind and in front,
From the crown of your forehead to the arch of your feet,
A mantle of Angels to preserve you in eternity.
Christ's peace is with you,
He wraps his loving arm around you.
The True Spirit helps and strengthens you,
His fiery sword is your support.
The Living God alone is your bulwark,
Now, always, wherever you are.
Yes, now and always,
Even when you think you're far from Him."
